1

Commitment and Communication

Students are required to be committed to their Intuition Education Australia (ABN: 56 114 031 784), Intuition or Intu program for the full length of their enrolled course.

  • Schoolwork is the priority: Students must manage their time effectively to strike a healthy balance between day school assessments and Intuition work.
  • Proactive communication: Any concerns regarding syllabus material, pace, or individual progress must be communicated to Intuition as quickly as possible so targeted support can be scheduled.
  • Student Portal Monitoring: Students and parents/guardians are required to monitor progress regularly via Intuition’s Student Portal: my-i (my.intu.com.au). Attendance records, homework marking, and upcoming events should be reviewed consistently.
Commitment Notice: Any student consistently failing to submit or correct Intuition homework without a valid reason will be subject to disenrolment. Intuition reserves the right to terminate a student's enrolment if their commitment to the program is lacking.
2

Attendance and Absences

Students are required to attend all classes and tutorials for which they are enrolled. If attendance is not possible, notice must be given to Intuition at least 24 hours in advance.

It is the responsibility of each student and family to be aware of the scheduled dates on which their classes and tutorials run, including sessions scheduled over school holiday periods and public holidays. Students that arrive more than 15 minutes late to their class, tutorial, or exam may not be permitted to enter to avoid disruption to the cohort.

Fees will not be adjusted for absences during tuition. Students and parents/guardians are expected to view their timetables on my-i and may request timetable transfers subject to class capacity.

Absence from Class

Students must collect the class notes and homework for the missed lesson (or request them via post), with homework submitted by the subsequent class. Once notes are reviewed and homework is attempted, a 1-on-1 catch-up session can be arranged alongside attendance at their respective tutorial.

Absence from Tutorial

Students are required to book and attend an alternative tutorial slot during the same week via the my-i portal or through student support to keep error logs fully cleared.

3

Submission and Correction of Homeworks and Exams

Homework is set at each class and must be submitted by the next class for marking. Homework must be completed to an acceptable standard: at least two-thirds (67%) of the questions must be attempted. Submissions that do not reflect a reasonable attempt will not be marked.

If a student experiences difficulty with any questions, they must notify Intuition promptly so additional tutoring sessions can be organized. Where unavoidable scheduling conflicts arise, students must request a deadline extension before the due date.

The "Zero Mistakes" Policy

After homework is marked and returned, students attend tutorials to work through and correct every error until zero normal mistakes remain. All corrections should be completed within two weeks of first return. If extra support is needed, additional tutorial appointments will be arranged.

4

Student Conduct & Acceptable Use

Students are expected to treat teachers, tutors, administrative staff, and fellow students with dignity and respect. Disruptive, offensive, or discriminatory behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in immediate suspension or expulsion in severe cases. Intuition reserves the right to terminate enrolment on conduct grounds.

Students are granted access to the Intuition campus Wi-Fi network and digital learning systems. By signing in, students agree to use these facilities solely for educational purposes in accordance with our acceptable use policy.

5

Intellectual Property & Digital Access

All curriculum resources, course workbooks, sample solutions, and diagnostic materials produced by Intuition Education are strictly protected by copyright. They are licensed exclusively for the personal educational use of the enrolled student.

  • No redistribution: Materials may not be hired, lent, exchanged, resold, stored on public file systems, transmitted electronically, or photocopied in whole or in part without express written authorization.
  • Access during active enrolment: Students maintain access to digital notes, class recordings, and my-i portal tools while actively enrolled. Upon discontinuation or course completion, digital resource access ceases.
  • Academic reporting: Information regarding school assessments, trial HSC exams, and official ATAR results will be disclosed to Intuition once available to assist in educational record-keeping and outcome validation.
6

Two-Week Trial & Referral Program

One 2-Week Trial Per Student

New students enrolling in weekly courses are entitled to one 2-week trial per student. The trial commences from their first teaching event. If the student decides to continue with their enrolment after this period, the 2 trial weeks are payable in full as part of their course enrolment.

$100 Referral Program

Students can refer a friend and both receive a $100 tuition credit. This referral bonus is capped at 5 referrals per student and applies exclusively to new student enrolments. The $100 credit note is non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and is formally credited once the referred student successfully completes their 2-week trial.

7

Refund & Discontinuation Policy

A student may discontinue their tuition at Intuition for any reason during their weekly course enrolment or Exam Success Program (ESP).

  • Unexpired Portion Refunded: A full refund of the unexpired portion of the tuition service will be processed within twenty-eight (28) days of Intuition receiving written notification.
  • ! Notice Under 7 Days: If less than seven days' notice is given for cancellation, the student incurs the cost of tuition for that final week.
  • Non-Weekly Programs: For non-weekly programs such as intensive school holiday courses and exam seminars, no trial period applies, but a prorated refund may apply in accordance with statutory guidelines.
