The team, the culture, the willingness to go above and beyond - everyone at Intuition cares deeply about their students. We strive to give students the tools to becoming successful both inside and outside the classroom. Our team is a melting pot of former Intuition students who as teachers taken on the mantle as mentors to many of their students by sharing their HSC tips and their knowledge across multiple fields (computer science, actuarial studies, engineering medicine and of course... pharmacy :)

What makes Intuition special?
Intuition is special because you are surrounded, taught and mentored by people who have been in your shoes and know what you're going through. All the staff care deeply about our students and want each and every one of them to succeed in their own ways. Intuition is also the perfect blend of structure and flexibility. We give you structure in our well-organised teaching schedules, but we also understand every school, and every individual is different.
What's your go-to study tip?
Don't be afraid to get things wrong. No one has ever gotten everything right the first time they learn it. Getting things wrong allows you to re-learn it, which only enhances your memory. Intuition is a safe space for you to get things wrong - there's no judgment from tutors/teachers, no pressure that it will affect your marks, and we give you all the tools and tips to make sure you don't get it wrong when it really matters.
What's your passion?
I like playing and watching all sorts of sports!

What makes Intuition special?
Intuition doesn't only help build a strong understanding of the content, but helps students be more confident in their abilities as well.
What's your go-to study tip?
More often than not, studying through content slowly and thoroughly the first time through will save you time later on down the road.
What's your passion?
I enjoy travelling and visiting other countries.

What makes Intuition special?
As a student, Intuition was special because of how supportive, knowledgeable and dedicated the teachers and tutors were. Tutorials were an invaluable resource, allowing me to ask about anything and everything. As a teacher, Intuition is special because of the collaborative culture that has fostered a "student first" approach, whilst watching students develop, grow and improve is an incredibly rewarding experience.
What's your go-to study tip?
Do past papers and exam-style questions during your learning experience and if possible try to teach the concepts that you've learnt to friends/family/your dog or the rubber duck sitting on the edge of your table. My go-to study tip for Intuition students would be however to book extra tutorials ;)
What's your passion?
I love climbing, rock music blasting in between routes as well as board and card games.

What makes Intuition special?
The way Intuition puts the students and their needs above all else to make sure they can excel in their work. The staff at Intuition are always willing to help out whether it be in class, tutorials, online or even in the hallways in their spare time.
What's your go-to study tip?
Try exam style questions as often and as early as possible. Reading notes can be a great way to learn content initially but the best way to consolidate concepts and commit them to memory is by practicing applying them in questions
What's your passion?

What makes Intuition special?
The warm atmosphere at Intuition doesn't create the impression of a rigid institution solely fixated on academic excellence. Instead, it fosters a friendly environment that promotes a positive relationship between teachers and students, motivating students to enhance their skills and reach their goals.
What's your go-to study tip?
Create a conceptual framework outlining the relationships between various concepts based on your existing knowledge. Validate or question this framework by consulting textbooks, online resources, or seeking guidance from your instructor. Refine the framework based on your findings, ensuring clarity in illustrating the connections between concepts.
What's your passion?
I enjoy indulging in daydreams, allowing my mind to wander and explore various delightful and uplifting thoughts.

What makes Intuition special?
Intuition is excellent at using its warm environment to foster academic growth through positivity rather than punishment.
What's your go-to study tip?
Attack practice questions as soon as you can & read the solutions to see what you've missed. It'll sting for a little bit once you realise how much you don't know, but the process of plugging those holes will prove invaluable in the long run.
What's your passion?

What makes Intuition special?
As an ex-Intuition student, I was explained concepts and different techniques in ways which really improved myself academically. Intuition is a very special place as I was able to somewhat relate to these tutors and teachers from their past HSC experiences which made it easier to understand what is to expect in these senior years of high school.
What's your go-to study tip?
Learn to triage! Work through your trickier topics first, then breeze through the easier ones.

What makes Intuition special?
The strong bond between staff and students. Intuition's dedicated faculty goes beyond traditional roles, actively engaging with students, fostering a supportive and collaborative atmosphere that elevates the overall learning experience.
What's your go-to study tip?
Break your study sessions into focused, time-limited intervals, aiming to achieve a small goal within each interval, followed by short breaks. For me, this helps me stay concentrated, prevents burnout, and boosts overall productivity.
What's your passion?
I enjoy fishing -- The relaxing atmosphere and the mesmerizing ocean scenery. It's just me, the water, and the pure thrill of the catch.

What makes Intuition special?
Intuition has a very relaxed atmosphere and everyone's so friendly so you're never afraid to ask for help.
What's your go-to study tip?
When I lacked motivation studying for the HSC, using the Pomodoro Technique helped a lot (25 min of work, 5 min of break, repeat).
What's your passion?
I enjoy investing in shares as it really brings out both my analytical and behavioural strengths while I get to make money at the same time (hopefully).

What makes Intuition special?
Intuition's supportive learning environment is a direct result of the family bond that exists among both the staff and students. The staff go above and beyond to ensure students get the help they ask for which is part of the culture Intuition instils in its system.
What's your go-to study tip?
Give yourself pressure, whether it be time pressure in past papers or having a countdown for when your next exam is. Having that sense of urgency will force you to push yourself.
What's your passion?

What makes Intuition special?
The staff, culture and dedication to each student is what makes Intuition special, driving students to achieve their own definition of success and grow in a safe and supported learning environment.
What's your go-to study tip?
My go-to study tip is to stay consistent throughout the term. This can mean using a diary to keep track of what homework and course topics have been studied as you go, meaning that when exam period comes around, you have set up foundations to success.
What's your passion?
I have a passion for music and netball, and I love to spend time with my friends to make new memories.

What makes Intuition special?
The level of communication between students, staff and parents stands out. There is always someone willing to help, whether it be teachers, tutors or SS.
What's your go-to study tip?
Set clear goals before each study session, don't simply say 'I want to study', rather, set achievable goals e.g covering specific syllabus dot points by the end of a study session, and remember to take breaks! For more complex subjects I also find it helpful to deconstruct them into smaller, manageable segments that are easier to comprehend and retain.
What's your passion?
I enjoy games, netflix, and I also bake sometimes.

What makes Intuition special?
Things that make Intuition special are: the environment, the people and the challenging questions that arise from the students.
What's your go-to study tip?
My number one tip is to go through as many questions and past papers as possible as a lot of the common questions tend to get repeated and the harder questions will involve you to mix certain concepts together. Make sure to revise over the things you got wrong as well because you may find yourself forgetting how to solve certain questions after some time.
What's your passion?
My passion would have to be going to the gym and studying.

What makes Intuition special?
Intuition was my home away from home in my senior years of high school and it still is! We genuinely care and take pride in the successes of all our students - however large or small. The staff at Intuition are one tight knit team who are not only colleagues but also some of my closest friends. There are 18 years worth of Intuition graduates and staff but somehow Intuition has managed to still be that same local Epping tutoring college that families still trust. This is what I believe makes Intuition truly special.
What's your go-to study tip?
Often the difficulty isn’t the material itself but the removal of distractions preventing you from beginning to study. Get started and you’ve already won half the battle!
What's your passion?
I love doing so many things but amongst them, summer nights discovering new indie rock music while reading an interesting journal article on perhaps, the exploration of eye gaze technology on females with Rett’s Syndrome, is somewhere up there.

What makes Intuition special?
The amount of support available and how flexible it is.There is always more help available through extra questions, tutorials and Ask A Tutor. You can free to use any of them at your own convenience in a way that complements learning. If students aren't sure how to get start or what is best for them, there is always someone ready to help since all the tutors have gone through similar struggles themselves.
What's your go-to study tip?
Focus on the big picture. It's all too easy to get stuck on the small details but following your own curiosity and thinking about why something is important/interesting/relevant works best.Drawing a mind-map usually helps me organize my thoughts and see the deeper connections and insights.
What's your passion?
During my spare time, I like to read mostly non-fiction, specifically on history of technology and science.I find it fascinating that how a series of seemingly everyday events can leads to a ground-breaking discovery (such as the discovery of transistors and how cryptography has evolved over time) .

What makes Intuition special?
Intuition's style of tutoring is quite unique and really helped me transition from the indian curiculum to HSC in Year 11 and 12. With a combination of both group and 1 on 1 sessions with teachers and students, it was very easy to break down and digest content. My favourite part of Intuition was the tutorials, as long I could bring a variety of questions from school, past papers, and so on to work on. It made learning all the more fun as I knew I had the tutors to guide me through topics.
What's your go-to study tip?
Start early! It sounds colloquial and something so simple but starting early and taking the time to construct your notes allows you to better understand the topic and prepare for exams. This means when you approach your exams, it is just a matter of either adding to these notes or revisting for the nth time which is what we term as "spaced reptition" or "active recall". (if we were to put fancy jargons to it ) For subjects such as Physics and Chemistry, I always found the best way to learn was to sit with 2-3 different sets of resources and undertand diffidult concepts.
What's your passion?
I believe my passion lies in learning. I always enjoy learning new ideas and perspectives may it be through people , articles or podcasts. Currently, I am investing my time into learning about Climate change , specialy topics such as Climate action and climate technologies. The best part - you'll be amazed at the plethora of creative climate actions and technology that already exists at this point in time!

What makes Intuition special?
The 3 step cycle of attending lessons, doing homework and correcting mistakes is well structured and encourages students to learn from mistakes which enhances the learning process
What's your go-to study tip?
Try a variety methods such as flashcards, writing notes etc depending on the subject and choose the one that works the best for you. Always do practice questions to consolidate understanding of the content

What makes Intuition special?
Intuition has a really great culture which comes from the fun and productive collaboration between staff members and the strong rapport that staff have with students.
What's your go-to study tip?
Learn deeply and intentionally from your mistakes, don't just skim over what you got wrong, but go through your thought process when you made the mistake and correct it by redoing the question.
